I had my ‘bio-age’ done the other
day. I’m 38.
Yep, my body is 6 years younger than
my ‘calendar’ age.
That also makes me 10 years younger
than you Sue Peden!
It got me reflecting on what I’ve
done to be this ‘youthful’ and how it is even possible after nearly 30 years of
heavy drinking.
So this is what I reckon has helped:
Kiwi fruit – one a
day. No exceptions.
Hot Lemon drink – every
morning. Combined with the kiwi fruit,
there’s a double whammy of Vit C right there.
No Caffeine
No Soft drink – why anyone
would willingly consume 10 teaspoons of sugar in one sitting is beyond me.
Running – it’s a drug –
wish I’d started running years ago.
Water – gallons of it
and just when you think you’ve drunk enough, drink another litre.
Boxing – it feels great
to beat the shit out of someone and it’s a great work out too
Bread – try not to eat
it. It’s evil
Lululemon – if you’re going
to work out, you may as well look good doing it. People who wear big, baggy old T-shirts to
the gym look big, baggy and old.
Wine – as much as you
like if you do all of the above
Cheese – only with wine
